JUE x Library Project:10 RMB donations for kids living in poverty…
This year, JUE | Music + Art partnered with The Library Project. The Library Project donates libraries to under-financed schools and orphanages in China, Cambodia and Vietnam. All of us at JUE believe that education is the key motivator to breaking the cycle of poverty.
With the help and support of over 1,200 JUE goers, partners, and community, we raised 20,900RMB in 20 days to put towards building a library in Hebei at the Tumen elementary school. 115 children, grades 1-6, attend the school and now have their own JUE library featuring books, arts & crafts and more!

The project was initially boosted by our JUE bursary fund. Collections began in earnest at our Pre-JUE show featuring The Lumineers.
