[:en]For this year’s\u00a0JUE | Music + Art<\/a> festival, China promoters\u00a0Split Works<\/a> brought over a three-piece American group called\u00a0Devil Music Ensemble<\/a>, who performed an original composition, a new score to the Chinese silent film\u00a0Red Heroine<\/a><\/em>. In Shanghai, the opening band for their show were two Shanghai-based DJs Laura Ingalls and Clement Pony, who perform as\u00a0The Horses<\/a> (or Acid Pony Club).\u00a0They had prepared their own new, original composition film score, to a seminal (or so Wikipedia tells us) Swedish silent film called\u00a0The Phantom Carriage<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n
