[:en]Acid Mothers Temple is made up of social renegades of every description – musicians, dancers, artists, farmers, channellers, ex-yakuza, mermaid researchers and professional vagrants. Centered around Kawabata Makoto’s original quartet (featuring Koizumi Hajime, Suhara Keizo and Cotton Casino) the group expanded into a collective of souls with one unified mission: to jam freely and take their unique brand of psychedelia around the globe. The group has been going since 1995, releasing prolifically through their own Acid Mothers Temple Family Record Label. In the case of the Irish rockers that make up And So I Watch You From Afar [ASIWYFA] their songs pack a raw punk-rock punch. The band members - joining forces in 2005 - have come a long way since departing their seaside resort town in Portrush, Northern Ireland. They’ve been touring all over the world and yes, they’re back for another whirlwind China experience.
