Are you ready for more nippples? Yuka and Qrea, AKA Trippple Nippples, are preppping for a triumphant return to Shanghai. An electro-pop duo who first crashed onto China’s shores in 2010 as part of JUE | Music + Art festival 2010, Trippple Nippples dress up in liquid latex and incorporate everything from feather bombs to glitter to blood and rotting spaghetti in their unmissable live shows, they are “nothing but out of this world” (Richard Oh, Big Stereo).

Armed with new material that the Guardian calls both “something from a distant planet in the far-flung future” and “bubblegum pop where the chewy comestible is question has been doused with hallucinogens,” Trippple Nippples defies conventions of musicality, decorum and taste wherever they go. Part theater of the absurd and part no-holds-bared dance party, their shows are the most fun you didn’t even realize you were having.

炭黑面包粉权当粉饼，睫毛上凭空长出艳丽的豹纹羽毛，变形头饰上洁白如雪的奶油爆米花丛里闪烁明灭的LED小灯泡…… 这并非某个激进艺术团体的行为艺术秀场，而是时下东京炙手可热的合成器朋克怪人帮Trippple Nippples。错位的妆容倾诉着扭曲的身体政治，辅以扶桑国特产玲珑聒噪，仿佛误入了一片充满崎岖狂想的仙境。
如果你去年在上海和北京看过她们在《觉》音乐+艺术节上的演出，相信一定会同意那是整个去年最疯狂的演出之一。育音堂在演出后一片狼藉，舞台上的音箱、返听、话筒架，沾满了各色颜料，还有一群Pogo时被荧光粉袭击满头大汗的观众。而北京的两个好朋友，则是一幅无数白色羽毛在空中乱飞的景象。Trippple Nippples极具视觉艺术性的舞台表现，加上富有冲击力合成器之音，让每一次演出都成为一次独一无二的体验。有时候她们甚至自己都无法控制自己，现场陷入了某种略微的失控和混乱。他们因此被东京一些场地列进了黑名单，但最重要的是每个观众都感到快乐，尽兴而归。

成立6年的乐队，只发行过很少的专辑。乐队把更多的精力放在了现场演出的精心构思和准备上。基于对她们艺术形象和音乐理念的认可，法国著名军靴品牌Palladium邀请她们为这个有60多年历史的经典品牌进行代言，而大名鼎鼎的全球新音乐探索平台Noisey也特别前往东京拍摄了她们的纪录短片。
