JUE x Library Project:10 RMB donations for kids living in poverty…
This year, JUE | Music + Art partnered with The Library Project. The Library Project donates libraries to under-financed schools and orphanages in China, Cambodia and Vietnam. All of us at JUE believe that education is the key motivator to breaking the cycle of poverty.
With the help and support of over 1,200 JUE goers, partners, and community, we raised 20,900RMB in 20 days to put towards building a library in Hebei at the Tumen elementary school. 115 children, grades 1-6, attend the school and now have their own JUE library featuring books, arts & crafts and more!

The project was initially boosted by our JUE bursary fund. Collections began in earnest at our Pre-JUE show featuring The Lumineers.

——《觉》x图书馆计划：为贫困地区的孩子献上一份爱心！
10元…不足以看一场演出 却能成就无数贫苦孩子的一生
“图书馆计划”每年都对在中国、柬埔寨以及越南贫困地区的孤儿院、学校进行捐助，现已有成千上万的孩子受益。我们坚信教育是摆脱贫穷最彻底的途径，希望大家能够和我们一起，支持贫困地区的教育事业的建设，让孩子们能拥有一个更美好的未来！
2014《觉》音乐＋艺术节联合图书馆计划对一所位于河北省保定市阜平县平阳镇土门村的贫困小学进行了捐赠。《觉》在每一个活动入口都放置一个了捐款箱，鼓励前来观看演出的观众一起来献爱心，并希望最终利用这笔资金为学校捐助一座全新的图书馆。
在经历了20天的演出，近1200次捐赠之后，2014《觉》音乐＋艺术节最终筹集到的捐款金额为20,900元整！感谢大家慷慨解囊，这笔资金将被兑换成一座全新的《觉》图书馆提供给115个1-6年级的贫困学生。
