In 2012, JUE | Music + Art wowed audiences with the heartfelt performance of Death Cab for Cutie, the meteorically rising star of Qu Wanting and the musical poetry of Summer Lei. For 2013, we bring you the captivating electro-pop synesthesia of Grimes, folk-punk heartthrob and Olympics opening ceremony star Frank Turner, up-and-coming Swedish pop sprite Amanda Mair, stunning bluesman Jeff Lang, and old-school Chinese indie rock darlings Sound Fragment. And this is only the beginning – stay tuned for more announcements in the new year. We’ve got some big names waiting in the wings…
From the multi-disciplinary, multi-genre Warm Up to JUE Market to curating our own group exhibition, JUE put on our most ambitious art programme ever in 2012. Obviously, we’re going to blow last year out of the water in 2013. Feeling competitive and creative? Enter our signature JUE NEXT GEN Photography Competition. Need a little art in your life but don’t want to shell out thousands of RMB? Then the Affordable Art China Preview Weekend & Courtyard Party is where you need to be. The Warm Up to JUE market will be back this year, with even more vendors, musicians, food and family activities. Working with Electric Shadows, we will be putting on the inaugural Asian Cinema Week during JUE 2013. Are plays your thing? We can’t wait to see the brilliant production from Shanghai Repertory Theatre. Want to get in shape, help the environment and win great prizes? 今年的冬天来得稍微早了点，所以我们也决定提前和你分享这个振奋人心的消息！相不相信吧，不知不觉《觉》音乐+艺术节已经走到第五个年头了，这绝对算是个值得庆贺的数字，不是吗？
2013年3月8日～24日，依旧秉持双城概念的《觉》将在北京与上海同时发生。经过重重筛选与讨论，我们为热爱艺术、喜爱新鲜、追求深层次文化探索的你准备了数十场精彩纷呈的艺术活动，内容涵盖音乐、电影、摄影、绘画、戏剧、文学、环保、科技互动、前卫艺术等多个方面，让你的感官与身心一次喂个饱！而且我们还在二月为大家呈献了两场“先知先觉”预热巡演，开始热身准备起来吧！
让我们先来看看都有哪些吸引你的活动吧：
乐迷们又有福啦！ 在2012年的《觉》舞台上，Death Cab For Cutie、雷光夏、曲婉婷等来自不同风格和地区的音乐人为我们带来了充满感染力的演出，至今仍让人记忆深刻。今年我们换种方式闹起来！在首批阵容里，我们确认了这样一些音乐人，有近两年的大热门迷幻女巫Grimes、来自瑞典知名流行厂牌Labrador的北欧才气美少女Amanda Mair、从不按常理出牌的老炮吉他音乐家Jeff Lang、在2012年伦敦奥运会上肆意高歌的Frank Turner以及国内乐迷喜闻乐见的领军乐队声音碎片，还有更多更多……现在你可以先复习起来了，我们还将公布更多惊喜，可别错过！
去年不下数十场的缤纷各色艺术活动是不是还让你意犹未尽呢？今年我们在艺术这块可卯足了劲儿要让你玩得更好，认识更多朋友和有趣的新东西！每年一度的摄影比赛“《觉》：新的一代”今年主题更开阔，奖品更丰厚；充满创意与交流乐趣，集时尚、前卫艺术、音乐、美食、多样互动于一体的“觉暖”市集也将回归；“买得起”艺术展除了让你“买得起”，还特意将场地搬到四合院内，这个派对肯定好玩儿！我们还将和Electric Shadows联袂举办首届“亚洲电影周”！此外远自蒙古而来的独立电影人将带来他的获奖纪录片为我们讲述蒙古国的音乐故事，多国成员组成的SRT剧目小组将在《觉》期间呈献一系列经典莎剧公演，而秉持“绿色第一”的我们，当然不能忘了拉拢热衷环保的你一起“骑着自行车去看《觉》……活动实在太多，不妨登录Split Works官网瞅瞅详细内容吧！活动还在持续添加中，敬请关注！
