[:en]Anna was booked to play the Hangzhou Xihu Festival on May 30th and the rest of her China tour was dependent on that booking. Unfortunately, the Xihu date was cancelled last week, and as a result, the tour will have to be postponed. We are all very sorry for any inconvenience.[:zh]由于Anna Meredith中国之行的起因是她原本受邀参加5月底的杭州西湖音乐节，所以想与Split Works合作顺便在周边城市安排小型演出。但令人遗憾的是，日前艺人方面告知我们，她在西湖音乐节的演出安排因故取消，导致她这次无法来中国，其他演出也不得不相应取消。对于给乐迷带来的不便，我们深表歉意。[:]

Since 2006, Brian Shimkovitz's Awesome Tapes From Africa blog has been shedding light on obscure and wonderful sounds from across the African continent. As a DJ, he travels from club to festival to DIY space, bringing the blog to life with 2-3 hour sets blending folkloric pop, left-field dancefloor gems, and hip-hop beats he's collected from African marketplace finds.
