We are gutted to announce that Angel Olsen’s performance in Shanghai – Saturday, March 11 – is cancelled. Purchased tickets will be refunded, in full. Instructions are below.
Our huge apologies to all fans and ticket buyers: we’ve been working around the clock to try and make this show happen, but the circumstances, ultimately, were beyond our control.
We’re extremely sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment that this announcement may cause. A full statement from Angel Olsen’s management is below, in Chinese and English.
Refunds:
For refunds, please bring your physical tickets to the SSO’s ticketing office at 1380, Fuxing Middle Road during working hours (09:00 – 20:00) from February 27 to March 11, 2017. You can call the SSO at 4008210522, but please note that an English speaker may not be available at all times.

Please note that giveaway tickets, complimentary tickets and staff passes are not eligible for refunds; and that refunds will not be processed after the show date (March 11).
About Contemporale:
The Contemporale series began in the autumn of 2014 as a collaboration between the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and Split Works and hosts exciting contemporary musical acts in a classical music environment, at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra’s new home in downtown Shanghai.
The 2014-15 season saw piano, guitar and strings from the Ukraine (Lubomyr Melnyk), Canada (Moonface) and the US (Bill Callahan). The 2015-16 season saw seven sold-out shows from six artists, including three performances in the 1,200 seat Concert Hall. These ranged from the neo-classical (Olafur Arnalds), avant-pop (Julia Holter) and baroque (John Grant) to alt-rock (Destroyer), folk (Damien Rice) and modern country (Lambchop).

凡已购买2017年3月11日“当代变奏”系列Angel Olsen上海专场演出门票的观众，现在可在2017年2月27日至3月11日期间，凭本场完整有效的演出票券在工作时间（09:00 – 20:00）至上交音乐厅售票中心（复兴西路1380号）办理退票。如有问题可致电4008210522了解更多信息。

关于CONTEMPORALE 当代变奏 系列活动
“当代变奏”是始于2014年秋天，由上海交响乐团和Split Works开功联合呈现的系列活动，致力于将独特的当代旋律带入到古典音乐的环境中。演出场馆则是位于上海市中心，拥有优雅环境和完美音效的上海交响乐团音乐厅。
在2015-16年度的“当代变奏”系列活动中，我们带来了Olafur Arnalds、Julia Holter、John Grant、Destroyer、Damien Rice和Lambchop等优秀音乐人，受到了大家的热烈追捧，票房火爆到一票难求的空前局面。在新一季的“当代变奏”系列演出里，我们将邀请到更多的国际优秀独立音乐人，将在拥有12,00坐席的的音乐厅上演最完美的作品。
关于Split Works
