If the answer is yes, then you might be our next Agent Assistant.

In this role you will be a key junior member of Scorched Asia, a boutique music booking agency specializing in booking tours, giving representation for artists in Asia and offering management services for Chinese-based artists.

This person is one who is hard-working, a fast learner and works great on their own and in a team.

This role would primarily focus on assisting with our agency’s various administrative tasks with an opportunity to help develop our exciting roster after a probationary period.



  • Issuing contracts and invoices and purchase orders
  • Communicating with promoters on financial reconciliation
  • Contact management – the upkeep and management of promoter contacts.
  • Working with finance to keep all financial records in order both on the server and paper files.

Tour Logistics

  • Flights – manage relationship with travel agent on flight plans for our artists
  • Visas – to be aware and on top of visa regulations for all territories we cover, and liaising with promoters on obtaining the most suitable visa for the artist
  • Accommodation – ensuring that accommodation is suitable to the artist’s needs as per performance contract
  • Itineraries and tourbooks – communicating with promoters to plan an artists itinerary as accurately as possible, and then to communicate this to the artist in a presentable manner.
  • Riders and what ever else is required for smooth touring.


  • Arranging press opportunities – liaising with artist and promoter to ensure they get good press coverage relevant to their Asian tour.
  • Being aware of developments in the region (new festivals, venues and promoters) – to update and manage this data on various agency spreadsheets.
  • Developing relationships with Chinese festival promoters to build tour anchor and supporting dates in China.


  • English fluency required
  • Prefer Mandarin fluency
  • You LOVE excel & calendar software
  • Internet research skillsYou have meticulous attention to detail, and your work is always neat and well presented
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize important versus urgent tasks, you love lists
  • Some experience in clerical and administrative tasks, eg filing
  • Analytical, self motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Are incredibly self motivated, and enjoy a relaxed work environment
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude, and enjoy helping others
